Ever dreamed of capturing the jagged peaks, emerald waters, and dancing Northern Lights of the Lofoten Islands?
The Thumbs Up team is scouting a potential expedition for the first week of February 2027. This is a rare opportunity to photograph the Arctic wilderness with dedicated, hands-on guidance in a tiny, focused group.
The Highlights:
When: Approx. first week of February 2027.
The Group: Strictly limited to 6 spaces for maximum 1-on-1 time.
The Mentorship: We are maintaining a 3:1 student-to-leader ratio. Four of our Thumbs Up leaders will be rotating throughout the trip, giving you access to a huge range of styles and expertise.
The Package: Approximately £2700.
Included: Accommodation, all meals, and local travel within Lofoten.
Excluded: Flights to/from the destination.
Why Lofoten in February?
We are targeting this window for the "Arctic Light"—where the sun stays low on the horizon, casting incredible colours for hours—plus the pristine snow-covered fishing villages and prime Aurora Borealis viewing.
