Thumbs Up Lofotoshop: Workshop February 2027

£250.00

February 11th to 17th 2027

6 nights

Undoubtedly one of the most stunning places anywhere in the world for landscape photography, the Lofoten Islands are often high on the list for many landscape photographers as a place they must visit at least once in their lifetime.

It's not hard to see why with majestic mountains rising straight from the sea, beaches that can be rocky and dramatic or tranquil with the most amazing turquoise waters. Away from the natural world, small fishing huts (Rorbu), traditional villages and quaint churches create some of the most stunning and recognisable scenes.

The time of the workshop has been planned to give the best chance of experiencing snowfall and also for seeing the Aurora Borealis. Neither are guaranteed, obviously, but we will be ready and poised to make the most of it, should these conditions arise.

We will have 3 leaders available throughout the workshop. With a small group of only 6 participants, meaning we are well placed to offer plenty of 1-2-1 tuition, location guidance and feedback to fulfil all your requirements.

We’ve spent a lot of time finding the perfect location to host the workshop from and found two lovely spacious properties right next to each other placed perfectly right next to the amazing Vik Strand and Haukland beach! Which positions us PERFECTLY to capture an Aurora Borealis is the weather gods are kind to us.
