Fine Art Field workshop - With Steve Stain

£190.00

Fine Art in the Field – A Minimalist Photography Workshop This exclusive Fine Art in the Field workshop is a highly personal photographic experience, limited to a maximum of two participants. Designed for photographers who want to slow down, simplify, and create meaningful work, the day focuses on crafting minimalist fine art images in the landscape. We will travel through the north Warwickshire countryside, carefully selecting locations that lend themselves to minimalist compositions — lone trees, isolated barns, and quiet rural scenes. Emphasis will be placed on observation, patience, and intent, rather than volume of images. During the field session, you will be guided through: Seeing and refining minimalist compositions Working with negative space and subtle tones Using long exposures to simplify and abstract the landscape Developing a fine art mindset in the field Following the shoot, the workshop continues with two one-hour post-processing sessions. These are dedicated, in-depth editing sessions where we will process the images created on the day and shape them into fine art, minimalist photographs. The focus will be on tonal control, mood, and restraint — creating images that are cohesive and considered, rather than overworked.
